Enyo and Ringo arrived!! 04/13/2012
Hi!! I have finally with me all the dolls for the third Enyo order and first Ringo order. I am packing all the heads right now, and between tomorrow and next week I will send all of them (I will give you the traking number by e-mail). ¡Buenas! About Enyos, I have a lot of work to do; assemble every doll, do many face-ups, send invoices etc. The packaging, certificates and cards are done (well, the cushions almost done!). Enyos without face-up will be sent first. Wait for my invoice to your paypal account, I am going to send all of them little by little so be patient please. Now I have to talk about Enyo pale tan. The color is very beautiful, but it has a little problem: the sanded areas are visible. As you can see in the below photos, the sanded area is paler than the normal surface. I was very surprised to see that because I have never had a doll with tan color so I asked to Dollshe factory and the answered me: "The color of the sanded areas of tan resin dolls cannot but be different from that aren't. All dolls casted from silicone molds are like that. It's just in inherent characteristic." I have asked to friends of mine and they told me that with another doll companies it happens, but maybe not exactly like that, what do you think?? As you can see, there are sanded areas in head, ankles and heels (and just a bit in shoulders). It isn't very noticeable in the body because these zones aren't commonly visible, it's more or less ok, but I am not happy with the head result. Well, this mark isn't visible with wig or hat, anyway... I don't like. Dollshe doesn't give me any solution because: "There is no way to fix the problem. We have been making tan resin dolls for a long time, and this is how our tan dolls have always been." So, my solution for that is paint the sanded areas of all the heads with airbrush. I have to do a test, but I think that it will solve the problem. I can also paint that area to the heads from people who didn't order it with face-up (without extra charges, of course). I hope you are agree with my solution, I think I cannot do otherwise. Your opinion is welcome! If you think that this result isn't "normal" I am not going to do more tan dolls (at least with this company). Anyway, Enyo is so cute with this tan skin! ://D I cannot wait to paint it!! But I preffer to assemble all dolls first (or not? it deppends on the weather, hehe!). When I do a make-up I will show you photos the soon as possible! ://) Thanks for all your patient my lovely people ♥ Soon in your inbox, Laura No puedo esperar a pintarlo!
//ENGLISH// Hello! Finally, news about Ino and Enyo! I have received many e-mails asking about them, so there is the info:
Thanks again for all your support, I hope you like all the news :) Take care, Laura ---- //ESPAÑOL// ¡Hola!
Besos, Laura INO 03/04/2012
This is Ino! I casted an Ino head and the new hands for him/her to show you it with face-up :D The resin I have used is just a bit darker than oriental/normal skin, if I can, I will make more Ino examples with a lighter color. I think I have to reduce a little the hands, they are bigger than Enyo hands, hehe! I am planing to send Ino to another factory, this time from China. This factory is used by several famous doll artists with a very good quality results. The resin would be different, a bit more translucent than Dollshe resin. The pric3 would be the same than Enyo but Ino would come with extras; eyes and an Engendrito outfit. What do you think? ://D Suichi head 03/04/2012
Do you remember Suichi?? The first version was different *searching photos* Here is a photo of the old Suichi i195.photobucket.com/albums/z78/Sakuli/bjd/suichi_pas.jpg I did it in 2007, and I wanted to make a new version, with my actual style. I can't beliebe it ;_; this is one of my favourite characters! snif snif (Suichi is a boy, a super crazy boy xD) I have casted him two days ago, I had problems with the resin and molds (as always...), but at least no bubbles anymore!! ;A; I sanded it a lot and yesterday I did his face-up ://D I know he is very peculiar, anyway, I love him, haha! ^//3//^ *Hat by my friend Kat!! PD: At the moment I am not going to do pre-orders of this head, because it only fits in a dollstown elf body, but maybe I will do a small pre-order if anyone is interested! :) PD2: Soon, Ino photos!!!
